Our Bone Kettle Restaurant Story!
Bone Kettle brings the bold flavors of Southeast Asia to Old Town Top Restaurant in Pasadena. Come and enjoy our delicious family recipes of slow-cooked bone broth, small plates, desserts and drinks in our modern Java wooden villa inspired dining room, outdoor patio & terrace.
Our menu was inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asia executed with techniques and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. We open for dinners daily and weekend brunch. Reservations are required.

Dine with us outdoors in our heated garden patio. Enjoy our socially distanced intimate and cozy layout right on Old Pasadena’s Restaurant Row.
RSVP today as capacity is extremely limited. To ensure your safety, masks will be required upon dining unless eating/drinking. Hand sanitizer station & restrooms are available inside. We highly recommend smaller parties as we can only take parties up to 6. Lastly, we recommend dressing warm/in layers during cooler days as we are outdoors. See you soon.

Bone Kettle’s bone broth is made using time-honored cooking techniques and fresh, ingredients reflective of Southeast Asian Kitchen and Bar traditions, made by boiling beef in filtered water with onions, garlic, ginger and a specific to Bone Kettle mix of dried spices, for 36 hours.

When Chef Erwin and his family immigrated from Indonesia over 20 years ago, his parents brought only what they could; 2 small luggage full of clothes, an English dictionary & a few Indonesian cookbooks to remind them of home. Little did he know that those cookbooks would be some of his most treasured possessions.
