Tymex Plastics, Inc – plastic manufacturing

Full Service Plastics Compounding Center:

Let us introduce ourselves:

Tymex plastic manufacturing is a privately held company that was established in 2001 to primarily service the rotational molding industry with state-of-the-art compounding and pulverizing capabilities. While pursuing this market, many opportunities arose that set the stage for the full- service plastic compounder and recycler we have now become.

“We must all obey the great law of change. It is the most powerful law of nature.”

Areas of Service:

Grinding:

Tymex Plastics grinds on two different grinders at over 5000 lbs. per hour. We use this grind to lower the costs of our customer’s material. We currently work with over 33 different molders to help reclaim their scrap material.

Tymex Plastics has incorporated in-line metal detectors and magnets to produce regrind that is free of metal contamination making the introduction of this plastic back into the molding industry easy.

Quality Policy :

Tymex Plastics is committed to complete customer satisfaction. This will be achieved with proper training and continual improvements to our processes. We will continue to follow ISO principals and work with our customers and vendors to develop cost saving programs that provide quality services and products at competitive prices that are delivered on time.

Our Company:

Tymex Plastics is a privately held plastic processing company that was established in 2001. With our veteran management team, we offer decades of plastics sales, operations, and production experience that specialize in the implementation of cost saving custom color compounding and thermoplastic recycling programs. Although primarily focused on servicing the rotational molding industry, we are also a full- service provider to the plastic compounding and recycling industries.

Tymex Plastics is a production facility that operates various production equipment in multiple departments 24 hours a day/seven days a week. We operate several different shifts depending on the departments.

We have found over the years that our employees appreciate the extra days off by working these shifts. You end-up working 3 days then having 4 days off. You then work 4 days in a row followed by having 3 days off.

Machine operators typically work within a designated work area for their machine. Our operation is spread-out so you are not operating within a small area, you will be on your feet and moving around. Operators may be required to lift as much as 70 pounds at times. You must be able to become certified on the operation of a forklift. We work with multi-colored materials so the ability to distinguish between different colors is a must. The ability to accurately fill out production logs is crucial. We cross train our operators so that eventually you can operate any machine within the plant.
